National Mourning Day 2021 observed

On 15th August 2021, the National Mourning Day was observed by Mukti Cox's Bazar with due solemnity. The program was presided over by the Chief Executive of Mukti Cox's Bazar where a large number of staff and volunteers attended wearing black badges to show respect to the martyrs who were killed brutally on the night of 15th August 1975.

The Member of the executive committee Advocate Mr. Shibu Lal Debdas and General Secretary Mr. Babla Paul was present in the program as the guest and the founder of Mukti Cox's Bazar Professor Mr. Someswar Chakravorty was present as the chief guest. The Speakers of this event delivered their speech commemorating the great contribution of the father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, for the emergence of the independence of Bangladesh as well as his tireless effort to make a golden Bangladesh.

They criticized the killers who killed at least 32 people that dark night. They demanded immediate arrest of the villains now abroad in absconding situations. They also prayed for the departed souls. The program was rounded off by a Milad and Doa Mahfil seeking peace and salvation of the departed souls.
