Goal

Advance gender equality, women’s and girls’ empowerment and reproductive right, including for the most Vulnerable and marginalized women, adolescents and youth.

Objective

Gender Based Violence in Emergency (GBViE) Project aims to Save the Life’s and Dignity of the women and girls from Rohingya communities and host community as well.

Geographical Coverage

23 Rohingya Camps and 8 adjacent host in Union, Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazila under Cox’s Bazar District and Bhasanchar, Hatiya Upazila, Noakhali.

Total= 234000 person (Adolescent Girls: 112320 and Women: 121680)

Objective

  1. Improved individual and collective agency and resilience of adolescent girls and young women to exercise their SRHR and protection from SGBV
  2. Strengthened health systems to provide gender- and adolescent- responsive and inclusive (GARI) SRH, SGBV and MHPSS services to adolescents and young people, particularly girls and young women
  3. Enhanced capacity of local stakeholders to advocate for evidence-based and accountable gender- and adolescent-responsive and inclusive SRH and SGBV services and policies

Total target population

10,465  (Adolescent girls: 3360, Adolescent boys: 3360, Young married women: 700, Female: 1547, Male: 1498)

7 Unions of Ramu Upazila (Chakmarkul, Rajarkul, Kauwarkhop, Khuniyapalong, Rashidnagar, Garjania, Khocchopia).
